Overview
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Troubleshooter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, particularly in high voltage environments. This role requires expertise in troubleshooting and calibrating equipment. The Electrical Troubleshooter will work closely with various electrical and instrumentation (E & I) systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
Duties
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues in high voltage systems.
- Calibrate instruments using tools such as voltmeters and ohmmeters to ensure accurate readings.
- Interpret and work from schematics to identify problems and implement solutions.
- Conduct inspections of distributed control systems and vision inspection systems to maintain operational efficiency.
- Provide technical support regarding electrical system operations.
- Collaborate with industrial electricians to execute repairs and maintenance tasks effectively.
- Document findings, repairs, and maintenance activities for future reference.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Electrical Troubleshooter or similar role with RV experience (3-5 years).
- Strong knowledge of high voltage systems and calibration techniques.
- Experience with 12V and 110 troubleshooting on RV units
- Proficiency with voltmeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools.
- Familiarity with distributed control systems and their components.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics accurately.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on attention to detail.
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical personnel.
- A background in E & I is preferred but not mandatory.
