Site Superintendent Position

Nexus Solutions is seeking a skilled and experienced Site Superintendent Position to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of our construction sites.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute projects from start to finish.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, including 3-week look-ahead plans.
• Coordinate on-site subcontractors, consultants, and vendors.
• Conduct regular site meetings to address any issues and ensure alignment with project goals.
• Manage the submittal process and ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and applicable laws.
• Maintain daily logs and construction progress photos.
• Ensure all project work and materials comply with project plans, specifications, and applicable codes and regulations.
• Conduct quality control audits.
• Mitigate risks to both Nexus Solutions and our clients.
• Review and interpret design drawings, product literature, and applicable codes and regulations.
• Communicate deviations to the Project Manager and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Manage projects to meet or exceed industry standards, practices, and processes.
• Enforce project site schedules to ensure timely and quality completion without incidents.

Requirements:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in construction management.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to operate with integrity and empathy, and build lasting trust-based relationships.
• Self-directed and highly organized approach to work.
• Able to hold self and others accountable to drive projects forward.
• Demonstrated knowledge of codes and construction practices.
• Computer skills with competency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Bluebeam.
• Experience reading and interpreting plans and specifications.
