Summary
Responsible for providing intensive behavioral intervention services to clients with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental delays in language, cognitive, adaptive behavior, social-emotional, self-care, fine motor, gross motor, and communication development. The behavior therapist is ultimately responsible for direct delivery of the behavioral services to the children and families, as well as accurate record-keeping of case notes and excellent communication with supervising BCABA or BCBA about the program and the progress of the behavior service plans. The RBT maintains a weekly billable caseload of service hours as directed.
Essential Functions
- Provide direct therapy in individual and group sessions.
- Complete weekly program writing and maintain the client's program book.
- Work with the Clinical Team and implement individualized goals and checklists.
- Implement individualized treatment plans as written and directed by a Clinical Manager.
- Graph data as instructed - may only apply if the electronic data collection system is offline.
- Maintain respect and confidentiality for all clients.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
- Maintain and protect the well-being of all clients.
- Avoid legal challenges by keeping client information confidential.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license and the ability to meet California’s driving requirements.
- Dependable means of transportation.

Actively communicates the Nexus Therapies' outreach efforts to the community.

Position Type / Expected Hours of Work :
This is a part-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, with some weekends as needed; hours will fluctuate based on workload and client schedule. Occasional weekend work will be required based on client needs.
Monday - Friday hours available 12 pm to 8 pm.
Saturday - 10 am to 6 pm.
