What are the responsibilities and job description for the Paraprofessional position at Nexus Therapy?
Nexus Therapy is now hiring for a full-time paraprofessional/educational assistant position for the rest of this school year, with the potential to renew for the 2025-2026 school year as well! This position pays $25 per hour as a W2 employee of Nexus and your work shift would be for 7 hours per full day worked (35 for the full work week). The schedule is 8:00AM-3:30PM, with a half hour unpaid lunch. You would be working on-site with a great school district about 20 minutes outside of beautiful Worcester, Massachusetts, supporting a preschool student with autism as a 1:1 aid.

Experience:
- Previous experience working in a school or daycare setting is preferred and passing a background check.
- Experience working with individuals with health needs is a plus.
- Knowledge of curriculum development and age-appropriate activities for young children.
As a Paraprofessional, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational and developmental needs of children in a preschool or daycare setting. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, along with knowledge of curriculum development and experience working with individuals with special needs.
