Nexus Therapy is now hiring for a full-time school psychologist position for the remainder of the 2024-2025 school year. This position pays $80 per hour as a W2 employee, with 7-7.5 billable hours per full day worked (35-37.5 for the full week)! You would be working in a hybrid role (one day remote per full work week, for writing reports and attending some meetings) with a great, supportive district about 40 minutes outside of Detroit, near lovely Monroe, Michigan. You would be working with students in grades K-12. Must be licensed as a school psychologist in the state of Michigan.

```Duties:```
- Evaluate and diagnose psychology disorders in students of all ages.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' specific needs.
- Collaborate with other educational professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
- Monitor students' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records.
- Provide education and guidance to students, families, and caregivers on development strategies.
```Qualifications:```
- Master's degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
- Valid Michigan state license or certification in School Psychology.
- Knowledge of assessment tools and therapeutic techniques used in school psychology.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
