Nexus Therapy is now hiring for full-time on-site speech-language pathology assistants for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year! These positions pay $50 per hour as a W2 employee of Nexus. You would be working on-site with a great smaller, yet supportive, district near beautiful Quincy, Washington. The schedule would be from 7:45AM-3:15PM (7.5 hours per full shift worked). Low caseload numbers of 45-50 and you may have some input as to if you'd prefer to work with primary or secondary students. Assigned to only one or two locations. Must be licensed as a SLPA in the state of Washington. On-site supervision will be provided.

```Duties:```
- Assist the speech-language pathologist in their daily duties.
- Provide therapy sessions to improve students' speech and language skills.
- Collaborate with other educators, to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
- Monitor students' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records.
- Provide education and guidance to students, families, and caregivers on speech and language development strategies.
```Qualifications:```
- Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid Washington state certification as a speech-language pathologist assistant.
- Experience working with individuals with speech, language, and communication, disorders.
- Knowledge of assessment tools and therapeutic techniques used in speech-language pathology.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, families, and other educational professionals.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
