Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and adaptable Travel Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our team. In this dynamic role, you will provide specialized wound care services across various locations, particularly in areas where we are experiencing provider shortages or have difficulty filling a position. The duration of assignments may vary based on the needs of each location. To ensure readiness for deployment, candidates must hold active licenses in all states. This position is ideal for a provider who thrives in diverse clinical settings and enjoys travel.
Responsibilities:
- Travel to designated locations to deliver wound care services.
- Diagnose and treat chronic and acute wounds using evidence-based practices.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and caregivers on wound care management and prevention.
- Maintain detailed and accurate medical records.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Must hold an active and unrestricted licenses in Texas and Florida at minimum.
- Willing to hold an active and unrestricted license in the state(s) where clinical or patient care is provided. Nexus will assist with obtaining licensure for these states as needed.
- Nationally board-certified Advanced Practice Provider
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with other APPs, RNs, LVNs, and operations staff to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Experience in wound care preferred; training provided for the right candidate.
- Flexibility and willingness to travel frequently.
- Strong clinical and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in diverse healthcare environments.
