Nexus Wound Consultants, a rapidly growing mobile wound care company, is seeking compassionate and dedicated Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants to deliver exceptional wound care to patients in their homes and facilities nationwide.

Compensation That Reflects Your Experience
We offer competitive weekly pay for Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants based on experience and background in wound care:
Full-time Nurse Practitioners (NPs):
Entry Level (0–2 years): $1,826 – $2,115/week
Mid-Level (3–5 years): $2,307 – $2,884/week
Senior Level (6 years): $2,884 – $3,269/week
FT NPs also have the opportunity to receive monthly productivity bonuses.

Responsibilities:
- Travel to private residences, skilled nursing facilities, adult care homes, etc. to provide comprehensive care for advanced wound care candidates.
- Reach an informed diagnosis and create an appropriate treatment plan for each patient based on scientific knowledge and the patient's medical history.
- Accurately document in patient charts following each appointment in our EMR system, AdvancedMD.
- Perform wound care techniques on patients like debridements, applying biologic patches, and using Ultramist technology.
- Collaborate with Physicians, RNs, LVNs, and other Advanced Wound Care Providers to form a high-performing medical team.
- Cultivate a climate of trust and compassion with patients.
Requirements:
- Must be willing to travel extended distances around the listed position area.
- Valid APRN/Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license.
- Most hold board certification.
- A valid Driver License and reliable transportation.
- Commitment to providing high-quality wound care.
- Must be willing to travel for initial training (out-of-state travel required).
- A DEA is not required.
Position Details:
- Role: Nurse Practitioner (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA)
- Commitment: Full-time (40 hours/week)
- Patient Load: Full-time max census is 30-35 patients (7-9 per day)
Training:
Providers will participate in a 3-week long training process to ensure overall preparedness and confidence before seeing patients independently.
- Week 1: Virtual orientation and EMR training.
- Week 2 & 3: 4-5 days of in-person training with one of our Advanced Wound Care Trainers (out-of-state travel may be required depending on location).
Note: $50/hour for pre-patient training (annual compensation starts the first day you see your first patient following training).
