ASP.net MVC Software Developer

REQUIREMENTS

You should have at least five years of experience on the Microsoft platform, with a minimum three years working on ASP.net MVC. You’re very comfortable with the Model, View, Controller architecture, and understand the separation of concerns with the MVC pattern. You’re very familiar with the C# language, and you leverage generics frequently (and probably have created your own generics). You’ve just started to leverage the new asynchronous programming patterns, and understand why async / await is important. Working in the enterprise environment, you know that unit tests are important and you are an advocate of developing tests side-by-side with your code. We practice continuous development, and we ship code to production multiple times per day. That excites you!

You should feel comfortable working independently or together with other team members as the projects require. You should be able to communicate effectively and be comfortable working with a range of other individuals from other disciplines. You should feel comfortable with asking questions on your projects and helping ensure each project you work on is a success.

This position requires a B.A. or B.S. degree in a technical discipline such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent on the job experience. The successful candidate will have the following technical skills :

• 5 years experience working with C#
• 3 years working ASP.net MVC3
• 3 years experience with a major OR / M (EF, Dapper, Insight)
• 3 years experience in a major front end framework (knockoutjs, angularjs, react, etc.)
• 3 years experience with a major unit test framework (nUnit, xUnit, Microsoft, etc.)
• Experience with Dependency Injection (Ninject, Microsoft, Autofac, etc.)
• Working knowledge of automation tools. We do continuous development.
• Experience with cloud hosting (AWS, Azure, Rackspace), a plus
