About this Position / Responsibilities
- Strong working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations and/or Title 2 Code of Federal Regulations applicable to the IAE portfolio of systems.
- An understanding of how the SAM (System for Award Management) supports and interacts with the FAR and supports federal acquisitions in areas such as: entity registration, entity validation, contract awarding, and reporting.
- Ability to connect statutory and regulatory policy to the functionality in SAM.gov and FPDS.gov.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Experience with relevant software applications such as word processing and spreadsheets.
- Minimum 2 years experience as policy analyst, government contracts manager, or related field.
Qualifications
- An understanding of the business processes and tools supporting federal acquisitions.
- Bachelors degree in an applicable discipline.
