About this Position / Responsibilities
As Program Manager, you will provide day-to-day operational leadership and oversight to our technical teams, working closely with technical team leads, Customer Experience designers, and developers to ensure on-time, high-quality, and secure delivery of services in support of our government client’s mission.
You will serve as the customer focal point for accountability, escalation and resolution of operational issues, act as the client advocate, mediate and resolve cross team conflicts, ensure the program team is meeting the mission critical needs of our government client, work with our government client to foster and implement best practices, and to introduce and implement innovative approaches to mission challenges. You will also have intimate knowledge of contract management and our obligations and commitments to our government client, and will continuously work to balance competing priorities, establishing and maintaining high trust and satisfaction with all stakeholders.
• Demonstrated minimum of 5 years’ experience managing large software development projects spanning multiple years with 50 staff members.• Demonstrated experience in managing in a continuous integration and DevOps environment.• Demonstrated experience with the management, manpower utilization, and supervision of employees (including subcontractors) of various labor categories and skills in projects similar to the requirements of the TOR, including in a• performance-based environment. Specifically, managing teams that will coordinate with the Government and work with other contractors to support an Agile environment with a small team of developers; manage O&M of operational systems with more than one million users with one million visitors per month; managing the transformation and consolidation of systems in support of improving efficiency, data quality, and service delivery.• Demonstrated experience in a quality assurance environment• Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills, including experience in presenting material to senior Government officials.• Demonstrated client relationship skills, adaptable from end users to engineers to C-level executives and Federal Senior Executives• Demonstrated ability to work in highly political and dynamic environments• Demonstrated ability to prioritize and lead team in accomplishment of multiple simultaneous complex activities• Demonstrated ability to foster coalitions between conflicting stakeholder groups and facilitate conflict resolution through commitment to shared goals• Strong organizational agility; able to rapidly learn an organization and determine how to most effectively complete actions and obtain information.
Qualifications
• An active PMI Project Management Professional (PMP®), PMI Program Management Professional (PgMP®) Certification, or a Bachelor, or Master degree from an accredited institution in Project Management, Business Administration, or similar.• Formal training or certification in Agile software development methods. Examples include: Scrum Alliance Advanced Certified Scrum Master or Scaled Agile SAFe Advanced Scum Master
