As a Direct Support Professional (or Coaches, as we like to call them) at Nadon Family Home, you'll play a crucial role in supporting individuals with disabilities to lead fulfilling lives. You'll be part of a dynamic team committed to fostering independence, building skills, and creating opportunities for personal growth.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Person-Centered Support: Provide personalized care and assistance tailored to the unique needs and abilities of each individual.
2. On-the-Job Coaching: Work alongside coaching individuals in growing in professional development skills and learning how to be a great employee.
3. Daily Living Skills: Support individuals in developing and maintaining essential life skills such as cooking, cleaning, personal hygiene, and social interaction.
4. Community Engagement: Facilitate participation in community activities, outings, and events to promote social inclusion and integration.
5. Recreational Activities: Organize and participate in recreational activities, including golfing, hiking, and other outdoor pursuits.
6. Documentation: Maintain accurate records and documentation related to individuals' progress, goals, and support needs.
Qualifications:

- Experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred but not required; training will be provided.
