What are the responsibilities and job description for the Brokerage Coordinator position at NFI Industries?
Overview
The Brokerage Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Brokerage department and act as a liaison for Brokerage with vendors, and other NFI departments such as Accounting, IT, Carrier Relations, and Risk Management. This position reports to Brokerage Operations Supervisor.
Responsibilities
- Effectively on-board new customers including account set-up in the system and working with NFI credit.
- Maintain NFI Brokerage TMS current with customer information.
- Streamline processes wherever possible (EDI, Web Services).
- Ensure proper follow up and management of all loads in coordination with the Brokers.
- Ensure NFI Brokerage's back office processes are smooth, efficient, and effectively controlled by gathering needed documents, invoicing customers promptly and accurately, paying carriers promptly and accurately.
- Coordination and collaboration with other NFI Departments to ensure customer needs are met.
- Resolve process issues.
- Produce department reports.
- Complete any other tasks or duties as assigned.
Qualifications
We are excited to share the base hourly rate for this position is $23.07 - $30.76 . NFI takes into consideration applicants' qualifications, experience, education, geographic location, when determining a starting rate of pay.
