Job Summary
As a Dedicated Truck Driver with NFI, you will have the opportunity to drive on our dedicated routes and maintain a consistent schedule. This role involves operating a dry van trailer on designated routes, often with no-touch or drop-and-hook operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a Class A tractor-trailer on assigned routes
- Meet all applicable Department of Transportation (DOT) qualifications
- Provide accurate documentation and communication to customers and NFI personnel
- Perform pre- and post-trip inspections on equipment
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Requirements:
- Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement (NFI will assist if needed)
- At least 6 months of relevant tractor-trailer experience
- Acceptable references from past employers
- Ability to meet physical demands of the job, including lifting up to 100lbs/45kg
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle safely and frequently enter/exit the vehicle as well as the rear cargo area
