Your Responsibilities:
As a Diesel Technician / Mechanic, you will be responsible for:
- Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing electrical and mechanical tractor and trailer-related issues using standard testing procedures and computer diagnostic equipment such as JPRO, OEM Diagnostic Software, Multimeters, and Windows
- Performing performance preventive maintenance on our fleet of tractors & trailers
- Performing DOT inspection per FMSCA guidelines
You must be physically capable to perform all job duties, including:
- Lifting and/or pulling 75 lbs or more without restriction
- Standing or lying for extended periods
- Having flexible movement to reach equipment
Preferred qualifications include:
- Ability to obtain a Class B license
- Technical or advanced degree or 2 or more years of equivalent maintenance experience
- Familiarity with troubleshooting equipment repairs and maintenance with diagnostic tools and equipment such as JPRO, OEM Diagnostic Software, Multimeters, and Windows
- Examples of teamwork and customer service skills, including good oral and written communication skills
