Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fleet Service Technician to join our team at NFI Industries. As a Fleet Service Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing electrical and mechanical issues related to tractors and trailers using standard testing procedures and computer diagnostic equipment.
You will also perform preventive maintenance on our fleet of vehicles and conduct DOT inspections according to FMSCA guidelines. In addition, you will be physically capable of performing all job duties, including lifting and/or pulling 75 lbs or more without restriction, standing or lying for extended periods, and having flexible movement to reach equipment.
To become part of the NFI team, you must have a valid driver's license and preferentially be able to obtain a Class B license. You should have technical or advanced degree or 1-7 years of Class 8 diesel experience, as well as familiarity with troubleshooting equipment repairs and maintenance using diagnostic tools and equipment such as JPRO, OEM Diagnostic Software, Multimeters, and Windows.
You should demonstrate problem-solving skills, examples of teamwork and customer service skills, including good oral and written communication skills. Requirements
