This role demands an adept understanding of the mechanical and electrical systems that keep our fleet moving. As a Heavy-Duty Vehicle Technician, your day will revolve around:
- Diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing intricate electrical and mechanical issues present in trucks and trailers, utilizing industry-standard testing protocols and computer diagnostic tools like JPRO and OEM Diagnostic Software.
- Carrying out routine maintenance checks on our fleet of tractors and trailers.
- Ensuring compliance with DOT inspections as outlined by FMSCA guidelines.
- Maintaining physical readiness to handle job requirements, including the ability to lift and maneuver 75 lbs or more, working in varied positions, and reaching diverse equipment parts.
Compensation: Ranges from $24/hr to $33/hr, contingent on professional experience.
Incentive: A $2,000 signing bonus provided within the first 90 days of commencement.
Work Hours: Monday through Friday, 7AM to 3:30PM.
Operating Unit: Fleet Services.
