Job Description :
Technical or advanced degree or 2-3 years of equivalent maintenance experience NFI Trailer Technician Expectations & Requirements : - Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical and mechanical trailer-related issues using standard testing procedures and computer diagnostic equipment such as JPRO, OEM Diagnostic Software, Multimeters, and Windows
Performance preventive maintenance on our fleet of trailers
Welding / fabrication as needed on trailer equipment
Perform DOT inspection per FMSCA guidelines
Physically capable to perform all job duties, which includes being able to lift and / or pull 75 lbs or more without restriction, stand or lie for extended periods, and have flexible movement to reach equipment.
On-site evaluation with recommended training
NFI Trailer Technician Qualifications : - Must have a valid driver's license
Preferred ability to obtain a Class B license
Technical or advanced degree or 2-3 years of equivalent maintenance experience
Successfully demonstrated problem-solving skills
Examples of teamwork and customer service skills, including good oral and written communication skills.
Average Pay Range :
22 - $28 / hr
pay will be determined by experience and certifications
