NFI North is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide oversight for our (2) five bed Residential Treatment Programs that specialize in providing supported housing services to individuals transitioning from and/or awaiting admission to Glencliff Home. These (2) program sites are located in Newport, New Hampshire.
These new programs will augment our existing continuum of care in large part due to our continued growth in serving this valuable population in NH. The Agency has a progressive reputation of providing comprehensive clinical, nursing, medical, case management, vocational, educational and peer support services and life skills to adults living with Serious Mental Illness (SMI) or Serious and Persistent Mental Illness (SPMI) and/or complex medical needs. The participants residing in these treatment facilities are seeking independent home-like living.
Responsibilities: The LPN is responsible for overall planning and implementation of medical and psychiatric nursing care of program participants. Provides direct medical and psychiatric nursing care, medical assessment of program participants, medical documentation and record keeping, medication administration and responsible for managing program medical supplies. This person works closely with the RN and psychiatric professional contracted through the agency. May provide supervision of other medical support staff. In addition to working daily in a team environment. The LPN should be able or willing to be a CPR/First Aid Trainer. This position has on-call responsibilities.
Qualifications: Degree from accredited School of Nursing must hold NH, LPN License and have experience with the program population preferred. Salary is highly competitive and negotiable
