The Information Security Manager responsible for protecting nFocus’ digital and physical information from threats This role will be responsible for supporting and enhancing the security of our IT infrastructure, leading security initiatives, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Security measures: Create, implement, and update security measures to ensure they align with CMMC and ISO 27000 guidelines and policies to protect individual computers, company network and information
- Cybersecurity systems: Build, maintain, and update cybersecurity systems and practices
- Security breaches: Respond to computer security breaches and viruses
- Disaster recovery: Create plans to recover system functionality and resolve data loss
- Security risks: Assess system vulnerabilities for security risks and propose risk mitigation strategies
- Regulatory requirements: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to handling information
- CMMC Level 2 Certification: Support policy development, completion and submission of CMMC Level 2 certification.
- ISO 27000 Support completion and submission of ISO 27000 certification.
- Recommend and implement solutions to improve security posture, ensure compliance with policies and adherence to procedures
- Ensure that nFocus’ infrastructure is protected against unauthorized access or compromise.
- Coordinate security measures and develop strategies to mitigate cyber threats.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and develop security solutions.
- Maintain appropriate industry and cyber certifications.
- Ensure data security and integrity, monitoring and recommending cybersecurity protocols and practices.
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or equivalent certification preferred.
- Secret clearance, Top-Secret preferred
- Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in information services, specifically cybersecurity roles and technology leadership roles.
- Proven experience with data governance, compliance, and information security.
- Advanced knowledge of information systems, networks, and emerging technologies.
- Proven experience with enterprise information systems and software.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification a plus.
