Role SummaryThe Senior Military Analyst will be responsible for conducting analysis of Mission Command and Command and Control products and programs using the JCIDS processResponsibilities and Duties
- Responsible for interfacing with and briefing Government personnel (Military and Civilian) of all ranks.
- Develop, implement, oversee, and improve as necessary those processes and procedures required to address and satisfy the Government's contractually defined objectives while ensure high quality products and services.
- Perform administrative functions such as reviewing and writing reports, updating project plans, approving expenditures, and making decisions about department related purchases.
- Coordinate and/or attend cross-functional meetings of personnel related to project.
- Report status, develop project-related documentation and implement lessons learned.
- Participate in project performance review meetings and discussions (when required).
- Responsible for developing and accessing documentation in the form of reports, proposals, white papers, and briefings.
- Graduate of a military service school equivalent to the Army Command and General Staff College (Military Education Level-4)
- Minimum of 20 years of Army service with staff experience at brigade or higher level.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience working as a Military Analyst in a JCIDS role.
- Minimum of three years of experience leading teams in execution of JCIDS efforts.
- Must have operational experience as a member of a brigade-level or higher staff) with familiarity using MC component systems, Army C2IS, and Joint C2IS.
- Must have background expertise working with, or in coordination with, materiel developers, capability developers, or test communities.
- Must possess a comprehensive and working knowledge of MC and DoD Architecture Framework.
- Must hold a Secret Level Personal Security Clearance.
- Must possess a certification in Agile or comparable Project Management processes.
- Fifteen or more years’ military experience at the division or higher echelon.
- Experience with the full scope of work i.e. studies, experimentation, and prototyping
- Demonstrated experience as a task leader in support of Army or joint capability development processes and requirements is desired
- Possess clear and precise oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Submit to required background checks.
- Be self-motivated with ability to establish priorities and effectively manage time to complete multiple tasks within specified timeframes.
- Be organized with strong sense of urgency.
- Be completely functional in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Be able to travel as required.
- Must be able to travel in support of the mission up to 10% of the time.
- Ability to hold a Secret security clearance.
