Position Summary
The Communications Intern position is an integral part of a six-person team. The role is central within the organization and is responsible for crafting enrollment communication pieces, as well as maintaining and structuring the Communications day-to-day material.
The individual in this position will have the opportunity to participate in company-wide projects that involve working with different teams. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated, energetic individual to contribute meaningfully to a growing business and gain valuable experience.
Key personality traits for success include high energy and drive, the ability to work on a team and a questioning mind. The position is hybrid. During the first three months of employment, the individual will be expected to be in the office up to three days a week for training. After the initial three-month period, their schedule will be determined based on their manager’s discretion.

The base salary range for this position is $18.00 – $25.00. The base salary offered will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level required for the position, the scope of the position, and geographic location. Actual base salary offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.

Position Responsibilities
Essential Functions:
- Assist Communications team on creating, editing and reviewing client communications (such as Word documents, websites, and presentations)
- Organizing and maintaining Communications team resources and materials
- Assist Marketing team on creating, editing and reviewing presentations and materials for sales meetings (such as PowerPoint sales presentations)
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Attention to detail

- Ability to work on a fast-paced team with specific deadlines
- Resourcefulness and ability to consult others to get a job done
- Strong ability to prioritize tasks and manage time
- A team-oriented, friendly collaborative attitude
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word and PowerPoint
- Ability to input creativity and original ideas into projects
- Knowledge in a coding languages is a plus (HTML, CCS, SQL)
- Knowledge in Adobe Creative Cloud applications is a plus
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree
- A degree in Business Administration, Communications or Marketing is a plus
- Paid internship
- Office located in the heart of Lower Manhattan (Wall Street – Financial District)
- Option to work remotely after three months (equipment provided)
