It acquires companies and introduces new offerings that extend beyond the standards and training traditionally offered by NFPA. Through both organic growth as well as acquisitions, NFPA Global Solutions is in fast growth mode with a mission to reduce the number of deaths, injuries, and property damage caused by fire, electrical, and related hazards while making the world a safer place. The first new offering of NFPA Global Advisors was launched in March of 2024 to support governments in relation to the NFPA Fire & Life Safety Ecosystem. NFPA Global Solutions also recently announced the acquisition of Dyne Fire Protection Labs and the launch of Field Evaluation Services.

Field Evaluation Services is a portfolio of technical services that enable manufacturers to get their products into the North American market when certification is not a viable option yet proof of compliance to standards is needed. Our latest offering provides customers with great service through a combination of easy project startup, in-depth technical competence, and outstanding customer service

We are seeking a Senior Account Manager to be responsible for national sales of the Field Evaluation Services portfolio. With the trusted NFPA Global Solutions brand, we are poised for significant growth and looking to find a candidate who is up for the challenge!

RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Cultivate and mine relationships that will help us sell and cross-sell our services to new and existing customers.
  • Oversee, manage, and provide client development leadership.
  • Tracks and monitors account performance, profit center gross revenue, and maintain critical reporting excellence.
  • Direct and manage overall business development and sales process which includes client and project pursuits, RFPs, proposals, key wins and losses, industry activities and other general BD / marketing / sales responsibilities.
  • Understands Field Evaluation services and be able to discuss and negotiate service proposals and win work.
  • Sell Field Evaluation services within assigned vertical, account and territory through effective client research, prospecting and networking.
  • Define and develop territory to increase new and existing sales.
  • Spend approximately 30% of your time to travel to new and existing identified target customers and stakeholders as well as attend industry meetings and trade events
  • Work with our technical SME’s to write and follow up on proposals, specify appropriate standards and pricing.
  • Meet all activity targets and log activity in to CRM platform.
  • Prepare sales reports and forecasts, as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience with proven track record in Inspection, Testing & Maintenance field preferred.
  • B2B sales experience is preferred.
  • Proficient in managing multiple concurrent opportunities from inception to close.
  • Skilled identifying and opening doors with decision makers.
  • Skilled in interpersonal interactions with customers at multiple levels.
  • Leverage existing contacts to develop long term customers.
  • We are looking for a driven salesperson that is self-motivated, with an entrepreneurial approach to their work.
  • Possess excellent written and oral communication skills, and superior presentation skills.
  • Must be energized and self-motivated and have the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
  • Proficient with CRM's, Microsoft Office, Lead Service software and other software.
  • Ability to travel 30% of the time in US & Canada.
