NFPA is looking to add a Vice President of Information Technology to the team! The Vice President of IT will bridge the gap between business strategy and IT operations, ensuring that technology initiatives drive business growth and efficiency. This role is also responsible for leading and managing the IT department with a specific focus on application development, security and compliance, infrastructure, and data management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technology strategy, systems integration, and enterprise architecture to ensure the effective and secure operation of IT systems. This role is pivotal in aligning technology initiatives with business goals while ensuring operational excellence and security compliance.
General Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business leaders to identify technology needs and align IT initiatives with strategic business goals.
- Oversee IT operations and projects, ensuring they meet business requirements in terms of cost, timelines, and performance.
- Lead cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration between IT and other departments.
- Ensure compliance with security standards and industry regulations.
- Develop and manage IT budgets and optimize resource allocation for maximum efficiency and impact.
