The ideal candidate will be comfortable with the on-site coordination of all phases of construction projects. They should be able to coordinate subcontractors, material, and equipment, ensuring the safety requirements and project specifications are being strictly followed, and work is proceeding on schedule and within budget. Previous hospitality or multi-family experience required.

How You’ll Spend Your Time
- Oversee daily operation of construction projects.
- Ensure safety, compliance and quality regulations are followed.
- Communicate project progress with owners and internal team.
- Manage subcontractors and organization of the overall job.
- Manage and oversee company staff, subcontractors, suppliers, and programs such as Safety, QC and EEOC.
- Understand subcontractor scope of work to ensure deadlines are met and project budget is maintained.
- Prioritize tasks and assign duties accordingly.
- Maintain daily log of all activities and site conditions.
- Coordinate all required 3rd party and local jurisdiction inspections.
- Preside over weekly subcontractor meetings.
- Be able to assess the overall health of your project and make necessary adjustments.
- 10 years construction experience.
- 6 years field supervision experience.
- Demonstrated proficiency in leading complex commercial construction projects of $20MM or greater.
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field (Preferred). In lieu of education, relevant experience will be considered.
- Proven ability to accurately schedule construction activities or projects.
- Demonstrated success in effectively managing safety on projects.
- Proven ability to identify potential issues and offer resolutions before the project is affected.
- Proficiency in MS Office, project management software, scheduling software, and Bluebeam.
- OSHA 30 Certified; First-Aid and CPR Certified
- Have previous hospitality or multi-family experience.
- Have directed construction projects of $20MM or greater.
