Our client provides Control Systems and Machinery to manufacturing companies primarily within the Rubber and Plastics market segments.
What you will be doing:
- Provide daily management and leadership to the Engineering group consisting of Field Engineering, Project Engineering, Mechanical Design and Electrical CAD Design.
- Be a driving force to ensure projects and customer orders are completed on time.
- Actively involve in all activities within the engineering group.
- Oversee employee management and administrative functions.
- Manage engineering projects.
- Work on electrical engineering and control and automation engineering.
- Engage in control logic and HMI programming.
- Carry out mechanical design and engineering.
- Create documentation including parts lists, schematics, mechanical details & assembly drawings, procedures.
- Provide customer support and field service.
Experience you will need:
- Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering and/or related field.
- Hands-on proficiency with Automation & Controls and Electrical Engineering design
- Five years experience in Engineering/Technical leadership/management role.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities; goal orientation and strategic and tactical planning
- Problem solving skills with ability to use good business judgment and make decisions.
- Willingness to travel to both domestic and international locations
