Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional service in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for crafting beverages, engaging with customers, and ensuring a memorable dining experience. Experience in fine dining, nightclubs, or restaurants is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in accordance with established recipes and standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including stocking supplies and cleaning glassware.
- Engage with customers to provide recommendations and ensure satisfaction with their drink selections.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure seamless service during busy periods.
- Monitor guest consumption of alcohol responsibly and adhere to all legal regulations regarding alcohol service.
- Assist in the training of new staff members on drink preparation techniques and bar operations.
- Stay updated on industry trends, cocktail recipes, and brewing methods to enhance the beverage menu.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a bartender in fine dining or nightclub settings is preferred.
- Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Proficient in cash handling and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.
- Knowledge of food service operations within a restaurant environment is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor towards guests.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
- Must be at least 21 years of age or older in accordance with local laws regarding alcohol service.
