Job Duties And Responsibilities
Project Leadership & Coordination
- Lead residential remodeling projects from start to finish, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Work with the Operations Manager to determine required materials, supplies, and vendors.
- Assist in developing and following the project schedule to ensure timely completion.
- Ability to read and interpret designer plans and specifications.
- Execute skilled carpentry work, including framing, drywall, cabinetry, and finish work.
- Manage customer requests, including overseeing and resolving inquiries related to Change Orders, and work with the Operations Manager on processing and finalizing.
- Provide guidance and assistance to less experienced team members, helping them understand complex assignments and improve their skills.
- Ensure effective communication and coordination among team members
- Comfortable with technology, including the use of Apple iPhone, Google Suite, and CRM Programs (Jobber).
- Understand and follow the proper order of operations when working with multiple trades.
- Communicate & coordinate with other trades to prevent conflicts and ensure a smooth workflow.
- Ensure all activities comply with safety regulations and standards, minimizing risks associated with carpentry and worksite safety.
- Job sites must be properly secured and cleaned before leaving for the day.
- Ensure all tools and equipment are powered down at the end of each workday.
- Take proactive measures to protect customers' personal property, including dust control, floor protection, and safeguarding fragile items.
- Punctuality is essential – Leaders are expected to set the standard by being the first to arrive and the last to leave.
- Your presence at the start and end of the workday ensures that the team stays on schedule and that the job site is properly managed.
