Work Schedule: AM Shifts (with flexibility as needed) Weekends when needed
Job Type: Full-Time
Position Highlights:
- Oversee housekeeping staff to ensure patient rooms, bathrooms, and common areas are clean and inviting.
- Ensure proper cleaning of patient bathrooms, including sinks, toilets, tubs, and showers.
- Monitor cleanliness of hallways and common areas by ensuring mopping, stripping, and buffing of floors are completed according to standards.
- Ensure furniture, walls, and equipment are regularly cleaned to maintain a pleasant environment.
- Train and guide housekeeping staff to safely and effectively use cleaning agents and adhere to all safety procedures.
- Establish and enforce cleaning schedules to ensure timely and thorough cleaning throughout the facility.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall cleanliness and comfort of our facility.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- At least 1 year of housekeeping/laundry experience in a healthcare setting.
- Supervisory experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to read and understand standard English.
- Effective customer service skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
