Are you a creative, compassionate individual who loves working with seniors? At Richland Place, we’re looking for a dedicated Recreation Assistant to join our vibrant team. Your mission will be to create meaningful, engaging activities that enhance the quality of life for our residents while providing an atmosphere of fun and enjoyment.

What you will do:

As a Recreation Assistant, you will:

• Develop and implement engaging wellness programs tailored to residents in Long-Term Care, Memory Care, or Rehab settings.
• Complete assessments, care plans, and associated paperwork in a timely manner.
• Ensure all activities meet local, state, and federal guidelines.
• Collaborate with other departments to build staff morale and enhance resident experiences.
• Utilize Microsoft Word and Publisher to create monthly calendars, newsletters, and marketing materials.
• Most importantly, bring the fun to daily activities and special events.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
• Skills:
• Strong communication and time management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Publisher.
• Creativity, energy, and a positive attitude.
• Personal Attributes:
• Self-motivated and compassionate.
• A genuine enthusiasm for working with seniors and their families.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with the team and community members.
