What are the responsibilities and job description for the Purchasing Assistant position at NHC Distributors, Inc.?
We are seeking a professional, motivated, organized Purchasing Assistant who is interested in a long-term career. Job responsibilities include, but not limited, to matching receiving documents with invoice to check for accuracy and correct any discrepancies, entering Accounts Payable invoices, arranging shipping for incoming shipments, submit purchase orders to vendors, reconcile vendor statements, and filing.
Candidate must be proficient in MS Office, Excel, Word and Outlook. Candidate must be able to multi-task and have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Candidate must also have strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Two to three years of purchasing experience is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 - $16.00 per hour
