Position: Life Enrichment Director - Full Time
Are you looking to provide daily meaningful activities that enhance the quality of life for our residents? Join NHC Place Anniston help develop/provide therapeutic programs which meets each residents "individual" needs while providing an atmosphere of FUN and ENJOYMENT and other duties as requested. The applicant must have a desire to work with seniors, be compassionate, caring and creative. The ideal candidate must be energetic, highly organized and have knowledge of the domains of wellness as it relates to programming in long term care. This position requires you to drive a transportation bus. Valid drivers license required.
Position Highlights:
- Lead the Activities team and provide support, developing and implementing a well-rounded Activities program for all residents to include evenings and weekends, celebrating holidays and big events
- Timely completion of assessments, care plans and associated paperwork
- Facilitating monthly Resident Council meetings
- Supervising activities assistants to include training, scheduling, evaluation, etc.
- Managing the center volunteer program to include recruitment, training, scheduling and recognition
