Job Summary
The Medical Technician provides direct and indirect patient care activities under the direction of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse. Key responsibilities include administering medications to residents in a safe, accurate, and timely manner, as well as providing physical and psychosocial care that promotes dignity, choice, and individuality.
Responsibilities:
- Administer medications to residents safely and accurately
- Provide physical and psychosocial care promoting dignity and individuality
- Assist patients with daily living activities
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for residents
Requirements:
- Satisfactory completion of medication technician skills competency checklist
- Obtain required medication technician training certificate
- Experience working in Assisted Living preferred
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently
Work Schedule:
Part-time position, alternating weekends, 11pm-7am shifts
