What are the responsibilities and job description for the Purchasing Coordinator/Supply Chain Specialist position at NHK Seating of America, Inc.?
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Issuing ERFQ, and Purchase Orders to established supplier
- Issuance of ECN; acknowledgement by supplier.
-Comprehensive review of all quotations received by the supplier
- Establish relationship between NHK and suppliers from initial supplier selection through program launch life and end
- Benchmarking potential new suppliers to maintain competitive market pricing
- Support Sales team with review of all material changes in both Purchase cost and Sales price
- Issuing of Purchase Orders per supplier and Purchasing agreed cost
- Support tracking all applicable tooling changes at each milestone per schedule/supplier
- Control changes made to component cost within Infor system
- Support necessary daily functions of Purchasing Manager
- Approval of Invoices for payment within Intelechief System
- All other duties as assigned.
