Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Dental Lab Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating high-quality dental prosthetics, including crowns, bridges, dentures, and orthodontic appliances, using various materials and techniques. Success in this position requires precision, technical expertise, and a keen eye for aesthetics to ensure our patients receive superior dental restorations.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Fabrication of Dental Prosthetics:
- Construct dental prosthetics such as crowns, bridges, dentures, inlays, onlays, veneers, and orthodontic appliances based on dentist specifications.
- Utilize a range of materials, including metals, ceramics, and plastics, as required for each case.
Model Preparation and Casting:
- Prepare dental CAD files for resin 3D printing.
- Perform post-processing tasks, including dremel use, washing, curing, and staining to achieve optimal results.
Repairs and Adjustments:
- Conduct repairs and modifications on existing dental appliances.
- Assess and troubleshoot issues with dental prosthetics to ensure proper fit and function.
Quality Control:
- Inspect finished products for accuracy, fit, and aesthetics.
- Ensure all dental appliances meet the dentist’s specifications and industry standards.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with dentists, orthodontists, and other dental professionals to review case details and ensure precise outcomes.
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and share insights.
Equipment Maintenance:
- Maintain laboratory equipment in proper working conditions.
- Follow strict safety and sterilization protocols to ensure a clean and safe work environment.

Requirements:Required Skills & Abilities:
- Proficiency in using dental laboratory equipment and materials.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Strong attention to detail and precision in craftsmanship.
- Solid understanding of dental anatomy and terminology.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
- Manual dexterity to operate laboratory tools and equipment.
- Strong visual acuity to ensure precision in work.
Experience & Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- Completion of an accredited dental laboratory technology program (preferred).
- At least one year of experience as a Dental Lab Technician.
- Experience with CAD/CAM and 3D printing technology is highly desirable.
- Certification from a recognized dental laboratory association (e.g., Certified Dental Technician (CDT)) is a plus.
