Position Summary:
As a Dental Implant Treatment Coordinator, you will transform patients' lives through expert guidance and exceptional care. This role combines clinical expertise with sales acumen, ensuring patients receive high-quality treatment and a seamless experience. Key responsibilities include building lasting relationships, enhancing patient understanding through clear communication, and driving implant case acceptance.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Sales & Patient Care
- Conduct consultations with prospective implant patients to explain treatment plans, options, and costs.
- Assist potential patients in their decision-making process, using the NHOMS | MassOMS consultative approach to foster confidence and trust.
- Manage follow-ups with prospective patients to encourage treatment acceptance.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to drive implant sales while maintaining patient care standards.
- Maintain strong relationships with patients from consultation through treatment.
- Support marketing efforts and referral generation initiatives to attract new patients.
Clinical Support
- Assist chairside during a diverse range of dental surgical procedures.
- Prepare, break down, disinfect, and sterilize treatment rooms and instruments to maintain hygiene standards.
- Ensure compliance with infection control, CDC, OSHA, and HIPAA regulations.
- Capture high-quality radiographic images and maintain accurate patient records.
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative care instructions to patients.
- Coordinate and communicate implant treatment details with referring offices and team members.
Operational Excellence
- Utilize Open Dental and HubSpot systems to optimize the sales and patient-tracking process, generate reports, and analyze performance.
- Demonstrate reliability, effective communication, and adherence to organizational core values.
- Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the Clinical Manager.
Required Skills & Abilities:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated, professional, and target driven.
- Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Suite, and familiarity with Open Dental or HubSpot.
- High School Diploma and reliable transportation.
- Willingness to travel up to 20% as required to support clinic operations.
- Sales experience (B2C preferred) with the ability to build long-term relationships.
- Strong follow-through, effective communication, and reliability.
Experience & Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience in dental or oral surgery (required).
- Implant Treatment Coordinator experience: 1 year (preferred).
- NH MedTech (required)
- CPR certification (required)
- DANB Radiation Health & Safety (required)
Compensation & Benefits:
- $55,000-$65,000 base compensation an uncapped sales incentive plan
