What are the responsibilities and job description for the Program Manager / EMS Corps position at NHS of Los Angeles County?
The Program Manager is responsible for supporting the development,
implementation and evaluation of WERC projects and programs.
Project Development
- Guide project work plans
- Engage and collaborate with external stakeholders (employer partners, educational agencies, community based organizations) and internal staff (project managers, curriculum developers, instructors and case managers) in the development of projects
- Assist program Director in the development of project plans including developing project goals and objectives, scope and expectations, roles and responsibilities and an evaluation framework
Project Implementation
- Build and maintain relationships with project participants during all phases of the project and when necessary, provide direct service to participants
- Take the lead in maintaining ongoing communication with external stakeholders and agencies
- Develop systems and workflows to ensure that all project information and activity is appropriately collected and completed
- Create and use appropriate tools to monitor project progress
- Adjust project activities as needed, based off lessons learned, to continually refine processes and improve outcomes
Project Evaluation
- Ensure project goals and deliverables are met, within budget and meet high quality standards
- Prepare and present project reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends
Education and Experience
- Relevant degree in a related field and/or prior experience planning and managing projects
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills, strong written and verbal communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
