Position
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Programme Manager based across University Hospital Crosshouse and Univeristy Hospital Ayr.
What You Will Do
This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Programme Manager for Digital Services at a time of transformational change within NHS Ayrshire and Arran. The Programme Manager, Digital Services role has the responsibility to lead on Primary Care and Community services programme which includes GP Order Comms, Care Partner and Review.
Within NHS Ayrshire and Arran, Digital Services uses technology to improve health and care and to support staff to work to the best of their abilities. We help health and care professionals deliver the best possible care by providing critical IT services that are safe, fast and reliable.
We provide a digital environment that supports and transforms the way our staff work, wherever they are, underpinned by systems that are secure, performant, resilient and available. Through the effective use of digital solutions, we support service reform and deliver cost effective digital services to drive transformational change, in particular to support Caring for Ayrshire, The national Digital Health and Care Strategy and the delivery of effective, efficient and safe patient care.

Knowledge, Training And/or Experience Required To Do The Job
Candidates should have a minimum 2 years’ experience of managing digital projects within a healthcare setting. Knowledge and experience of using project management methodologies such as Prince 2 would be desirable.

37 hours per week.
Driving Licence/Car Ownership
A car licence/car ownership is essential to this role.
