Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Psychiatrist in Medical Psychotherapy to join our team in the Regional Department of Psychotherapy.
The successful candidate will work closely with other medical psychotherapy consultant colleagues to provide high-quality services to patients. They will also contribute to the development of the department's strategy and leadership team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver face-to-face assessments and psychotherapy treatments.
- Teach and supervise doctors and other professionals.
- Participate in strategic leadership and contribute to the department's overall vision.
Requirements:
- MBBS or equivalent medical qualification.
- Experience in medical education, clinical research, or management (especially in a field related to psychotherapy).
- Registration with BPC or UKCP as a psychodynamic or psychoanalytic psychotherapist.
- Fully registered with the GMC with a licence to practise at the time of appointment.
