NHT Logistics, Inc., a family-owned trucking and cold storage company, is seeking a New York City CDL Driver to join our team. Based in Denver, PA, we pride ourselves on providing excellent service while delivering goods to all Five Boroughs in NYC, and Long Island.
Purpose : The CDL Driver will partner with the NHT team and customers by picking up and delivering freight to various locations. This position will take responsibility for verifying and maintaining case counts, at all times, and paperwork of the daily loads. The CDL Driver will be in complete support of and willing adherence to NHT’s mission, vision and core values. Applicant must hold these standards as his / her own.
We value integrity, stewardship, excellence, family, and eternal perspective at New Holland Transport, and we are looking for a full-time Driver to join our team who will earn between $60,000 - $110,000 yearly depending on experience and receive additional bonus opportunities.

- Provide quality customer service with professionalism and integrity.
- Accurately complete and maintain neat paperwork for daily loads.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure equipment safety.
- Service delivery routes in the five boroughs of NYC and Long Island.
- Load and unload trailers, including breaking down freight when needed.
- Maintain clean and well-kept equipment.
- Follows traffic laws and driving in a safe, courteous manner.
- Must have and maintain a valid CDL.
- Valid Medical Card.
- Prior NYC driving experience strongly preferred.
- Power jack certification (NHT will train and certify if needed).
- Familiarity with E-Log software and other related technology.

The driver will need to be physically able to drive in various climates, including cold work environments. The driver will have extended hours of sitting, standing, bending, climbing in and out of a truck and trailer multiple times a day. Performing physical work that may include but not be limited to stacking boxes onto pallets and lifting up to 50 lbs. to complete the required tasks and maneuver freight as required.
Work Hours : Varies,
Travel : 100% on the road, driving to NYC up to 4 times per week.
