Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field and five years of experience working directly with infants and toddlers.
Job Summary
The Infant Toddler Technical Assistance Specialist will be responsible for providing training related to infants and toddlers, to parents, child care providers and community members. Providing technical assistance and on-site intensive technical assistance to registered/licensed child care programs serving infants and toddlers and record keeping.
Qualifications:
- Excellent public speaking skills.
- Sound knowledge of infant toddler development and child care regulations.
- Three years training experience in the ten topic areas required by the New York State Office of Children and Family Services child day care regulations.
- The ability to work occasional evenings and weekends.
- The ability to travel throughout Niagara County.
- A valid NYS driver's license and car required.
- Experience working with linguistic, racial and ethnic populations a plus.
Duties:
- Coordinate and conduct training workshops related to infant and toddler development in compliance with the required New York State Office of Children and Family Services child day care regulations.
- Assist with maintaining training database and create data reports on child care professional development.
- Present group presentations that can be conducted in any location on a variety of topics aimed at improving services to infants and toddlers.
- Represent the agency and the infant toddler network at community and professional meetings and events related to infants and toddlers.
- Provide infant and toddler related on-site intensive technical assistance to registered and licensed child care providers and programs serving infants and/or toddlers.
- Participate in meetings and state-wide trainings for the Western New York Infant Toddler Resource Network.
- Coordinate assessment tools and conduct program assessments as required.

Pay: $37,295.00 - $56,515.00 per year
