JOB SUMMARY
This position is responsible for providing comprehensive support to international students, developing and implementing international programming, and fostering leadership development opportunities for all students. The Coordinator will play a critical role in enhancing the university's global engagement and promoting a campus environment that values diversity, inclusion, and student success.
ESSENTIAL CUTIES
International Student Support and Engagement
- Develop, coordinate, and implement support services tailored to the unique needs of international students, including orientation, cultural adjustment, and academic integration.
- In collaboration with the Intercultural Engagement Center, support students in the planning and execution of international programming initiatives that celebrate cultural diversity and global citizenship to enhance cross-cultural understanding within the campus community.
- Collaborate with other campus departments to ensure seamless support for international students, including Residence Life, Academic Affairs, and Enrollment Management.
- Monitor and assess the effectiveness of programs and services, utilizing data to inform continuous improvement efforts.
- Stay current on trends and best practices in international student services, programming, and student leadership development.
- Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
ERGONOMIC REQUIREMENTS
The functions of the position are primarily performed sitting but may require standing, walking, and occasional lifting. Tasks involve extensive use of a computer, telephone, and other standard office equipment. The position also requires the ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
