Position Summary
The Engagement and Operations Manager will oversee operations, programs, and partnerships within the Levesque Institute for Civic Engagement. This role ensures seamless coordination of community-based programs, effective management of grants and budgets, and fosters relationships with diverse populations and stakeholders. The Manager will lead initiatives that align with the Institute's mission to drive meaningful, systemic change in the Niagara community through civic engagement, collaboration, and innovation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Community Engagement (60%)
- Assist with the development and implementation of impactful community programs in collaboration with local organizations, stakeholders, and diverse populations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with community partners to enhance the Institute's presence and capacity-building efforts.
- Assist with the planning and execution of events that align with the Institute's goals, including workshops, community meetings, and outreach programs.
- Collaborate with the Niagara University community (faculty, staff, and students) to design experiential learning opportunities and community-based projects.
- Act as a liaison to the public, promoting the Institute's initiatives through presentations, networking, and outreach campaigns.
Operations and Program Management (40%)

This position reports to the Executive Director of the Levesque Institute for Civic Engagement and is based at Niagara University. Occasional evening and weekend hours may be required to support community programming and events.
