What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part Time Lab Instructor/Certified Lab Instructor position at niagaracc-suny?
SUNY Niagara's Division of Workforce Development is seeking a part-time instructor to assist with teaching an EMT/AEMT course as a Lab instructor/Certified Lab Instructor (CLI). While this course is in-person, current candidates must have the ability to teach online utilizing the Zoom Platform. All instructional staff are responsible for meeting SUNY and college regulations. This includes completing HR training requirements and utilizing SUNY Niagara's email platform.This position is responsible for providing psychomotor skills instruction during practical lab sessions in accordance with current New York State guidelines and protocols, and to support training course curricula. The instructor will utilize their educational and professional experience to foster a student-centered classroom environment that cultivates student engagement, growth, and career readiness after the completion of the program.This position requires the ability to work autonomously and assist with class as scheduled. The ability to communicate effectively with supervisory staff in a timely fashion should a change be necessary is a critical component of this position.In order to build and maintain an active pool of qualified candidates to meet our present and future needs for this position, SUNY Niagara will accept applications on a continuous basis.
