What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part Time Philosophy Instructor position at niagaracc-suny?
SUNY Niagara has a need for part time instructors to teach introductory courses in Philosophy in the Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences Division.These classes are typically three lecture hours per week during days and/or evenings. They can be face-to-face, face-to-face enhanced with a Zoom option, asynchronous online, blended synchronous on Zoom, hyflex (face-to-face, synchronous Zoom, and asynchronous online), and hybrid (in-person and online). Regardless of the modality, the selected candidate would need to be available to report in person on campus when needed.Classes are held on the main campus in Sanborn, NY, as well as the Niagara Falls Culinary Institute in Niagara Falls, NY. Applicants must be able to attend in-person meetings, professional development, and other obligations on the Sanborn campus even if teaching online or at NFCI.Remuneration for this position is: $915 per lecture hour/$819 per lab hour.In order to build and maintain an active pool of qualified candidates to meet our present and future needs for this position, SUNY Niagara will accept applications on a continuous basis.
