What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part Time Sociology Instructor position at niagaracc-suny?
SUNY Niagara has a need for part-time instructors to teach introductory courses in Sociology in the Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences Division.These classes are typically in-person (face-to-face) three lecture hours per week during days and/or evenings at the main Sanborn, NY, campus or at the Niagara Falls Culinary Institute in Niagara Falls, NY. They can also be face-to-face enhanced with a Zoom option, asynchronous online, blended synchronous on Zoom, hyflex (face-to-face, synchronous Zoom, and asynchronous online), and hybrid (in-person and online).Applicants must be able to attend in-person meetings, professional development, and other obligations on the Sanborn campus even if teaching online or at NFCI.Remuneration for persons teaching at least 3 credits in a semester: $915 per lecture hour/$819 per lab hour.In order to build and maintain an active pool of qualified candidates to meet our present and future needs for this position, SUNY Niagara will accept applications on a continuous basis.
