What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Inspector position at NIBE Element North America?

The Quality Control Inspector will perform basic visual inspection by using devices. Be able to record inspection data onto inspection form. Perform incoming inspection of parts which may include activities such as PO verification using ERP system.
Technical Requirements:
- Perform in-process and final inspections for mechanical as well as assembly parts. Support machine shop QA function.
- Read product drawings and specifications.
- Utilize MS Office Suite applications including Word, Excel & Access.
- Work with quality and production personnel.
Education and Training:
- Use basic mechanical hand tools such as Caliper and micrometer and torque screw drivers. Electrical devices such as Digital Multi-Meters, Ohmmeters.
- Basic proficiency in MS Office Suite applications including Word, Excel & Access Data Base and outlook
- Read and interpret Blue Prints.
- Intermediate math skills.
- Basic understanding of GD &T
- Basic CMM operation experience
Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear and taste or smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
