What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Attorney position at Niblock & Associates?
We are looking for an Associate Attorney to join our debtor Bankruptcy Team with an eye to becoming the owner of the firm's bankruptcy practice. The ideal candidate for this position will have a passion for helping people experiencing financial difficulty through the bankruptcy system and yearn to learn how to own and operate their own bankruptcy practice. The successful candidate will be expected to eventually handle all aspects of a successful bankruptcy practice with the help of staff members.
Responsibilities:
- Advise clients how bankruptcy can help resolve their financial problems.
- Conduct legal research and analyze legal issues.
- Prepare bankruptcy petitions, pleadings, motions and discovery.
- Represent clients in meeting of creditors, court proceedings and negotiations.
- Prepare for trial by interviewing witnesses and gathering evidence.
- Develop strategies to achieve client objectives.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
