JOB TITLE: Manufacturing Engineer
JOB SUMMARY
Evaluates manufacturing processes by develop, designing and conducting research methods to improve manufacturing methods using knowledge of product design; materials and parts, fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods and quality control standards.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES
• Identifies, organizes, and leads teams to resolve production and product issues.
• Identifies and implements cost savings and safety initiatives.
• Adapts machine or equipment designs to factory and production conditions.
• Designs arrangement of machines within plant facilities to ensure most efficient and productive layout.

QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university or an equivalent combination of formal education, on-the-job training, and/or work experience.
• Experience with robotic weld/robotics a strong plus.
• Six Sigma certified helpful.
• Strong analytical, communication, and MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint) skills; proficient in design software (Solid Works and Autocad is desired).
• A high level of creativity and latitude is required.
• Sheet metal experience and Inventory Control knowledge/experience desired but not required.

Salary : $70,000 - $80,000
