Summary: Responsible for developing and implementing short and long-term sales and business development strategies to reach HySecurity’s sales and margin goals for company products in their assigned area. Responsible for all sales activities, from lead generation through close in an assigned territory. Develops and implements agreed upon sales plan to meet both personal and business goals of expanding customer base in the territory (North Central Region). Works within the sales and support teams to deliver outstanding customer satisfaction, revenue generation, and long-term account goals in line with company vision and values.

Salary range is $85,000 to $95,000 annually, plus an average of $40,000 in commission.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned partner accounts.
  • Coordinate the involvement of HySecurity personnel, including support, service, and management resources to meet partner performance objectives and partners’ expectations.
  • Meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned partner accounts.
  • Proactively lead a joint partner planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets and critical milestones associated with a productive partner relationship.
  • Proactively assess, clarify, and validate partner needs on an ongoing basis.
  • Sell through partner organizations to installers in coordination with partner sales resources.
  • Manage potential channel conflict with other firms by fostering excellent communication internally and externally.
  • Lead solution development efforts that best address installer and end-user needs while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company and partner personnel.
  • Ensure partner compliance with all partner agreements.
  • Drive adoption of company programs among assigned partners.
  • Proactively recruit new qualifying partners.
  • Sell directly to Dealer/Installers that are defined as strategic.
  • Submit a sales report to include current and pending sales, industry trends, key opportunities, current challenges, and competitive intelligence weekly. Tell us what you think and why.
  • Achieve assigned sales quota in designated territory.
  • Meet assigned expectations for profitability.
  • Complete partner account plans that meet company standards.
  • Maintain high partner satisfaction ratings that meet company standards.
  • Complete required training and development objectives within the assigned time frame.
  • Closely coordinate company executive involvement with partner and installer management as appropriate.
  • Work closely with Inside Sales Representative to ensure customer satisfaction and problem resolution.
  • Provide 6-month rolling forecast quarterly.
  • Other Duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years sales experience in associated perimeter security products. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Intermediate to advanced sales reporting utilizing CRM (i.e., Salesforce.com), and MS Office applications required.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to make professional presentations and implement sales programs to meet company sales goals.
  • Technical background with experience in fence or gate manufacturing, perimeter security and/or access control industry a plus.
  • This individual must be self-motivated, enthusiastic, energetic, self-confident with the ability to personally drive sales growth while strategically developing those same skills sets in others.
  • Must be highly competent in relationship building, negotiation, organization, and technical sales skills.
  • Ability to sell a technical premium product at a premium price in a competitive environment.
  • Experience with selling solutions in a complex, multi-level sales channel.
  • Positive attitude, self-motivated and eager to succeed.
